We do not aspire to be many, but to be unique in the market, offering advice of the highest quality
Founded in Lima, Peru, in November 2011 by Alfredo Thorne.

After a successful career of more than 30 years abroad, he decided to create an advisory firm that offers a world-class service to the customers and attract the best professionals.

We are a new company that aims to attract the best customers in the region, with no distinction between them, whether they are large, medium or small customers.
We want them to be different, modern and have the desire to create value. We advise private and public companies, those that look for value maximization or have a social cause that encourages us and make the difference in our society.

About Us

We offer economic, markets, financial and strategic advisory to companies. We also help our clients to complete local and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, new business development, and capital and debt raising.

Our clients are mainly foreigners and locals who want to invest in the Andean Region and Mexico, as well as Asia, North America and Europe. Generally, these are local companies, foreign funds, and medium and big corporations.

We have a strategic alliance with Atlas Advisors LLC, an advisory firm based in New York.



Our Principal Director is Alfredo Thorne.

Alfredo was Head of Investment Banking and Research at Banorte-Ixe, third largest bank in Mexico in terms of assets.

Mr. Thorne was also Managing Director at J.P. Morgan-Chase and head of Latin America Research for 15 years.

Before, and for 8 years, he was senior economist at the World Bank, with experience in Latin America, the former Soviet Union, and the former socialist countries of Central Europe.

He obtained a DPhil from Oxford University, an MPhil in Development Economics from Cambridge University, and a BA and MA from the Universidad Catolica del Peru.

Roberto Mendoza
Senior Managing Director at Atlas Advisors.

Previously, he worked for more than 30 years at J.P. Morgan Chase where he was involved in the Corporate Finance, M&A and Private Equity areas; and served as Vice-Chairman from 1990 to 2000.

Bachelor of Yale University and MBA from Harvard Business School.


Economic Analysis

Led by Cesar de los Rios, Bachelor in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico, top 20% of his class and with concentration in the public sector. Previous experience in macroeconomic and public policy analysis, as well as research focused on macroeconomics and the education sector. His previous professional career includes his time at the Research Center of the Universidad del Pacífico (CIUP, in Spanish), where he worked as a Research Assistant, and the Sociedad de Comercio Exterior del Perú (ComexPerú, in Spanish), where he worked as an economic research intern. César has certifications in English and French.

Corporate Finance

Led by our Vice President of Corporate Finance, Alfredo Aguilar, who has extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Debt Refinancing, Financial Control and Capital Markets in Spanish and Peruvian companies. He has been interim CEO at EDPYME Credijet, Director at Jet Perú, Interim Manager of Administration, Management and Control at Frenosa, M&A Manager at Oesía Group (Spain) and Business Valuation Manager at VR Business Brokers Spain. Professor in the Master in Finance, MBA and Corporate Programs at the Universidad del Pacífico (SMV, Alicorp, BBVA, Interbank, among others). Economist from the University of Lima, Executive MBA from the IESE Business School (University of Navarra), Master in International Finance from the Financial Studies Foundation (IEAF-FEF), Master of Science with a major in Investment Projects from the UNI, Candidate a Doctor (research proficiency - DEA) in Business Finance from the Complutense University of Madrid, Candidate for a Doctor in Economics from the UNMSM. CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst) granted by EFFAS (Germany).

Luis Miguel Acosta, Master in Corporate Finance from Pacífico Business School, with Beta Gamma Sigma honors; and Bachelor in Business Administration, from Universidad del Pacífico. Luis Miguel speaks English at an advanced level. He has extensive experience in issues related to finance: Financial Planning for Interbank (2009), Corporate Treasury for Belcorp (2010 to 2014) and for Pluspetrol (2014-2015). He was Treasury Manager for OPIC (2015) and at his last position he was part of the Financial Program for Olmos Irrigation projects (2015-2018). He also participated in the issuance of the syndicated loan for Belcorp in 2011, carried out with the IFC (financial arm of the World Bank). In addition, he has been teaching assistant for the Investment Decisions’s class, at Universidad del Pacífico, during the first semester of the year 2014.

Lucia Lastarria, Holds a BS in Business and Accounting with honors from the Universidad del Pacífico. She also attended the London School of Economics Summer School Program, taking the Applied Valuation and Securities Analysis course. Recipient of CFA Scholarship and a comprehensive scholarship to participate in the XV SBS Extension Program. With finance and investment experience in public and private sector, Lucia has been involved in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Currently, she participates as a teaching assistant at the Master in Finance Program, at the Universidad del Pacífico. Lucia speaks Spanish, English, German and French.
